Fulham and Villa fancy Jol Former Coventry City midfielder Martin Jol is wanted by both Fulham and Aston Villa to be their manager according to The People. Jol's time at Highfield Road is probably best consigned to history but the Dutchman has found his forte in coaching and was popular during his time as manager of Tottenham and at the clubs abroad that he has been in charge of. Jol had been lined up to be the Fulham manager but did a u-turn and the club appointed Mark Hughes instead. The People is claiming that Jol 'is believed to be the leading choice of both chief executives, Villa’s Paul Faulkner and Alistair Mackintosh of Fulham.'
