Duo give Boothroyd boost

Coventry welcome back Marlon King for Sunday`s trip to QPR and could possibly be boosted by the long-awaited return of Ben Turner. Striker King is back in the fold having completed a three-match suspension for the red card he received against Ipswich. Influential centre-back Turner has been out since early November with a knee injury but is due to train on Friday and manager Aidy Boothroyd has not ruled out him being involved at Loftus Road, although a starting berth remains an outside chance. Captain Lee Carsley is currently in Sweden undergoing an Achilles operation before travelling to Germany for groin surgery and is expected to be out for three to four weeks. Fellow midfielder Sammy Clingan (knee) returned to the bench for last weekend`s goalless draw against Sheffield United following his lengthy lay-off and will again take his place in City`s squad. Otherwise, Boothroyd reports no fresh injury concerns and arranged a behind-closed-doors friendly this week to give some of his fringe players some valuable minutes on the pitch.
