Duo doubtful for Coventry

Coventry are sweating on the fitness of striker Lukas Jutkiewicz and goalkeeper Michael Quirke ahead of the trip to Millwall.

Jutkiewicz suffered a knee injury shortly after scoring the opening goal from the penalty spot in the Sky Blues' 2-1 win over Derby last week.

Coventry back-up keeper Michael Quirke, has a suspected dislocated finger and both players face a race against time to be fit.

Despite collecting two wins and a draw from their opening three fixtures, manager Aidy Boothroyd believes his side can improve, but he has targeted a win over the Lions to stand them in good stead as the international break looms.

"I thought we did OK on Saturday (against Derby). We've managed to get by on grit, determination and some organisational qualities. We know it's going to take some time before we start playing fast free-flowing football," Boothroyd told Sky Blues Player.

"We have a very difficult game coming up. It'll be our hardest one yet I believe but if we can get something from this game, it will have given us a strong solid start going into the international week."
