Dumferline are being reported as still being interested in Coventry City defender James McPake.
City, are reported as looking to off-load McPake, who has not asked to be put on the transfer list, and would be expecting the Scot, whose time at the Ricoh Arena has been limited due to injuries, to leave on a permanent deal, so they can command a transfer fee.
However, reports say that Dunfermline would prefer a loan rather than having to pay up front for the central defender.
