Drink Driving Ban For Steve Kean

Former City coach banned from driving Former Coventry City coach Steve Kean has been found guilty of drink driving and banned for eighteen months plus fined £1800. Kean, who worked with Chris Coleman, before ousted out of the club in 2009, was breath tested after his black Mercedes was pulled over by police on the southbound carriageway of the M6 near Knutsford, Cheshire, at 8.30pm on May 14 and the prosecution claimed that Kean shot past a marked patrol car at 90mph. He was stopped and given a a breath test which recorded 65 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, just under twice the legal limit.  Keane had applied to the court not to be banned, claiming his drink had been spiked but after being unable to prove this, he pleaded guilty.
