Doyle makes Whites loan switch
The 28-year-old signed for the Sky Blues from Celtic in 2003 and has made 278 appearances for the club in six seasons, including 44 in all competitions last term.
Coventry manager Chris Coleman told the club's official website: "We talked to Michael last season and said that maybe it was time for a change for both parties.
"I explained to Michael he wasn't going to figure as much as last season if we got targets we wanted.
"He has two years left on his contract and he wants to play, which we can understand, and when the Leeds proposition came about he felt it was good for him and we felt it was good for us."
