Disappointed With The Result Not The Performance - Freedman

Opposing Manager's View Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman was disappointed with his side result which saw them lose 2-1 at Coventry City this afternoon."I was disappointed with the result but not the performance - especially in the second half," said Freedman to the Press Association."We had a game plan that was working in the first half but we gave away a soft goal and we changed in the second half which made us a bit more vulnerable at the back but we created a bit more."The fact they scored their second goal before we scored ours probably did us but it was a spirited performance and I saw enough out there to work with."Sometimes it's just not your day and that was the case. We won't make any excuses but we do have to address our away form because it could have a big bearing on our season."On trying to bring in players during the loan window, he added: "We have targets in the loan market and if they become available we will try to do something but when this club just makes quick decisions it never seems to work."But I think there is enough there. We have one or two players missing but today wasn't our day and we move on."
