Paolo Di Canio has quit Swindon Town as manager.
Di Canio offered his resignation on February 12th but after a meeting on Friday, he entered into a temporary arrangement with the proposed new owners to continue as Manager, subject to Football League approval for the purchase of the Club being granted by 5:00pm today.
At 7pm and with the Football League not approving the takeover, Di Canio resigned and issued a statement.

Swindon Town have said they are disappointed Di Canio resigned at a criticial time for the club.
