Deegan, who arrived at the Ricoh from Irish side Bohemians at the start of January, grabbed the only goal by firing into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.[LNB]Ahead of Wednesday's trip to St James' Park, he told Sky Blues Player: "I think the three points were massive because going into the Newcastle game it has given us a big boost. Hopefully we can kick on and get something.[LNB]"I don't think it's going to be as easy as people think it's going to be but we'll go up there and give it a go and hopefully we'll get our reward. Maybe three points, who knows?"[LNB]Despite his recent arrival Deegan has already been taken to heart by the City faithful, who were singing his name during Saturday's impressive display.[LNB]The midfielder added: "I heard it once or twice and it gives you that little lift and that little buzz, you want to go out and do more. It's nice to hear they are calling my name so early."[LNB][LNB]
