Coventry City manager Andy Thorn feels that having Gary Deegan back is something the club have missed.
Deegan made his first appearance of the season for City coming on as a 63rd minute substitute against Blackpool and scoring in the 2-2 draw on Tuesday and Thorn told Sky Blue Player at the club’s weekly press conference: "Everybody knows what he is about. "He is a good player but he's been really disappointed with the injuries he's picked up because they have all been long term.
"They mean he has struggled to get going but hopefully this time he will and he will be a big player for us.
"He makes a tackle and he gets around people - which is probably something we have missed a bit."
