Cyrille Coaches At City School
City old boy goes back to school Coventry City 1987 FA Cup Final hero Cyrille Regis was coaching at Whoberley Hall Primary School along side City's community staff as part of the Football League's "Home Team Heroes " scheme. The five week course for four to six year olds is to teach them basic skills and speaking to the Coventry Observer, Regis who made 274 apearances for City as well as playing for West Brom and England said: "Football is the heartbeat of so many communities and I know from my own experience that this is the case in Coventry. "Opportunities like this were not around when I was playing and I think they serve a brilliant purpose in ensuring that youngsters understand the importance of exercise and gain confidence through sporting activity."
