The Coventry Telegraph have said that they are not part of any SISU Out campaign.
The paper, yesterday called for the current City board and the owners to speak to Gary Hoffman and see what new plans he has for the club.
However, the paper's Editor has issued a tweet saying: "Can I stress that the paper is not part of any campaign to get SISU out.
"We're just about common sense and the good of Coventry City FC."
