Reading boss on game v City Reading Boss Brian McDermott paid tribute to Coventry City for making a game of it in the second half of the Royals 3-0 victory this afternoon.Speaking to the Sporting Life, McDermott, who has been at Reading for the last ten years, said: "We were scintillating in the first half but credit to Coventry because they came into it more in the second."The first half was really pleasing on the eye but it was also important to tough it out in the second and keep a clean sheet."
