Striker can't sign just yet though. Mirror Football is reporting that Coventry City have won the race for the signature of Bolton's 18 year old striker Danny Ward, but that he can't sign for The Sky Blues on loan until he signs his new contract with Bolton Wanderers. Ward was being chased by nearly half of all Championship clubs after Bolton boss Owen Coyle gave the green light to a loan move, but Coyle is insisting that the move cannot go ahead until Ward signs his new, long term contract with The trotters. Coventry City were always one of the front runners in the race for Ward, with Millwall and Leeds making very good cases for his signature.
