The centre-back, 24, is on loan at the Ricoh Arena although Coleman has already revealed his desire to make the move permanent while Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo has also suggested he would not stand in the way should Barnett wish to move.[LNB]Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph: "We are trying to get Leon. We would like to do something. We have had some conversations with West Brom and I have spoken to Leon as well and if we can reach an agreement it will be a real good signing for us.[LNB]"I think he's keen to come. He wants to play football and he's enjoyed his time here. But if there is a club bigger than us they might come in and nick him."[LNB]Coleman has already been busy during the transfer window, completing a move for Irish midfielder Gary Deegan while also closing in on deals for Carlisle forward Gary Madine and Stockport midfielder Carl Baker.[LNB]He is also considering whether or not to extend Jack Cork's loan spell until the end of the season after he returned to Chelsea. The return to fitness of Sammy Clingan and the arrival of new midfielders at the club is providing him with plenty of options in the middle of the park.[LNB][LNB]
