Jordan Willis set to boost Coventry

Coventry could have captain Jordan Willis available again when Southend visit the Ricoh Arena.

The defender has been out injured for the past month but he has resumed training and may be back in the team on Tuesday night.

Kevin Foley came off injured during the home defeat to Bradford on Saturday and he will now miss matches, while Chris Stokes is another fresh injury concern after he missed training on Monday.

However, Ryan Haynes joins Willis in coming back into contention for the Sky Blues, who are now 14 points adrift of safety in Sky Bet League One.

Southend manager Phil Brown could make changes after watching a "dishonest performance" in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers.

Forward Nile Ranger and winger Stephen McLaughlin came on for the second half following their return from injury, so could be in contention to start.

On-loan Tottenham midfielder Luke Amos may be drafted into the first-team group, while striker David Mooney is close to a return from his ankle injury.

Goalkeeper Mark Oxley continues his recovery from a fractured elbow.
