Coventry's Burge a doubt with sickness bug

Coventry keeper Lee Burge is a doubt for the visit of Shrewsbury after coming down with illness.

Jim O'Brien and Ruben Lameiras have both been sidelined by the virus and Burge is the latest victim meaning Reice Charles-Cook could make his league debut for the Sky Blues.

"We'll wait until the last minute to see if he can play but if we have to make a change it won't be a problem because Reice Charles-Cook has been playing well," manager Tony Mowbray said.

James Maddison and Jordan Willis are still out though although the duo are making progress.

Shrewsbury boss Micky Mellon is set to make changes following their 3-2 defeat at Rochdale on Tuesday.

The Shrews boss wants to keep his players fresh with the side also travelling to Fleetwood in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday.

"I think we'll have to do it (make changes)," he told the Shropshire Star.

"We'll have a look at that as we go on because we want the players to be as fresh as we can."

James Wesolowski is a long-term absentee for Mellon with the midfielder out with his second cruciate knee ligament injury of the year.
