Clarke set to miss out again

Jordan Clarke is unlikely to be fit in time for Coventry's home clash against Oldham on Sunday.

The centre-back missed the thrilling 4-2 Boxing Day win over Peterborough with an ankle injury, although it is not too serious and he could return to face Rotherham on New Year's Day.

Andy Webster stepped in against Posh and is set to do so once again for the visit of the Latics.

The Sky Blues do not boast any other injury or suspension concerns, with both Callum Wilson and Jordan Willis returning to the fold for the game against Peterborough following groin and knee injuries respectively.

Oldham's Johnson Clarke-Harris will be looking to make it three goals in as many matches when he faces his former team at the Sixfields Stadium.

The 19-year-old added to his FA Cup goal at Mansfield with the opener at Sheffield United on Boxing Day and looks set to continue his partnership up front with Adam Rooney.

Fellow striker Danny Philliskirk will be hoping to recover from the knee injury that kept him out at Bramall Lane but Charlie MacDonald (thigh) is not expected to feature.

Winger James Dayton (ankle), midfielder James Wesolowski (head) and defender Edijs Joksts (back) also remain sidelined as Johnson's team look for their first league victory this month.
