Jamie Sterry and Marvin Sordell both banned for Coventry

Coventry host MK Dons without suspended duo Jamie Sterry and Marvin Sordell after they were both booked for the fifth time this season.

Midfielder Andy Rose remains out with a thigh strain having missed the 4-1 defeat at Oxford and 1-0 loss at Bolton.

Kwame Thomas is still sidelined with a groin issue and is not expected to return for the Sky Blues until after Christmas.

Chris Stokes (knee) has returned to light training after missing the season so far and Chris McCann is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Richie Barker remains in charge of MK Dons and should have an unchanged squad to choose from.

The caretaker boss will attempt to get his first league win at the fifth time of asking and could make changes after seeing his side squander the lead to lose at home to Chesterfield in midweek.

He can call on the likes of Darren Potter, George Williams, Paul Downing and Ryan Colclough should he wish to tweak things.

Chuks Aneke made his long-awaited return from injury as an 84th-minute substitute on Tuesday night and the summer signing may get a longer run out at the Ricoh Arena.
