Baker boost for Sky Blues

Midfielder Carl Baker could return for Coventry's clash with Doncaster.

The Sky Blues' skipper recently underwent a hernia operation and missed last week's defeat to Portsmouth, but he has now resumed training and is being considered by boss Steven Pressley.

Defender Richard Wood is making good progress following a groin problem but this game comes too soon, while midfielder Steven Jennings will be given as much time as possible to prove his fitness after he sustained a knock against Pompey.

Jordan Willis suffered an injury playing for the Under-21s in midweek and is definitely out, but David Bell is back in training after illness.

Nathan Cameron is unavailable having joined Northampton on loan for the remainder of the season.

Coventry will look to end the season on a high having been deducted 10 points for entering administration this week. They reached an agreement to play their remaining matches at the Ricoh Arena.

On-loan midfielder Dean Furman will return to the Doncaster squad for the trip.

Furman missed last weekend's derby victory at Scunthorpe while away on international duty with South Africa.

The 24-year-old suffered a facial injury as the Bafana Bafana beat Central African Republic 2-0 in their World Cup qualifier in Cape Town. He was sent to hospital for scans, where he received the all clear.

Furman is still waiting for his first Rovers start since arriving from Oldham in mid-March.

New Zealander Cameron Howieson is also back from international duty. The on-loan Burnley midfielder is still waiting for his Rovers debut and he is expected to be among the substitutes at the Ricoh Arena.

Full-back Paul Quinn will be absent due to a family bereavement while midfielders Martin Woods (calf), Paul Keegan (thigh) and David Syers (ankle) all remain injured.
