Coventry v Derby early news

Who's in and who is out Coventry City take on Derby County in Saturday's televised game, kick off at 12:15 and City aim to end the day still unbeaten. Strikers Freddy Eastwood and Gary McSheffrey could miss out on starting places with Clive Platt making an impressive debut when he came on as substitute at Watford and helped to turn a defeat into a draw. Midfielder Aron Gunnarsson is also fully fit again and will be determined to make the starting eleven. Sky Blues boss Aidy Boothroyd is keen to keep the unbeaten run going at lest to the next international break in two weeks time. He told the club website, "Of course you want to maintain a good start because you want go into the international break and pick up the paper and say `that's a good start, but it's Derby County first.""We will go all out for that and see if we can get the three points and if we can do that then I'm sure the next game against Millwall will take care of itself." As far as Derby County are concerned, they may give  the 18 year old American  striker Conor Doyle a chance in the starting eleven. Fellow striker Tomasz Cywka fractured his cheekbone in the defeat to Cardiff and will definitely be out. Derby boss Nigel Clough said, "Conor could start."  Clough is awaiting news on two injured strikers Rob Hulse and Chris Porter." Hulse and Porter have yet to train with the rest of the squad this week, said Clough.Hulse has a sore Achilles tendon and missed last weeks defeat to Cardiff as did Porter, who has a hip injury, but he was deemed fit enough for the bench. Derby County coach Johnny Metgod said earlier in the week that the only reason Conor hasn't been picked is because of his lack of experience but he is never going to get it unless he is picked.
