Adams boost for Sky Blues

Coventry left-back Blair Adams is back in contention for Colchester's visit to Sixfields on Sunday.

Adams missed last weekend's 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury due a hamstring injury but has trained this week and is set to return to the fold against the U's.

Midfielder Adam Barton has been managing a slight knee problem of late but is again likely to be among the substitutes.

Otherwise, manager Steven Pressley has a fully-fit squad as the Sky Blues, who started the season with a 10-point deduction, aim for the victory which would take them off the foot of the League One table.

Magnus Okuonghae starts a three-match suspension for Colchester.

The influential centre-back saw red during Tuesday's disappointing 4-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Dagenham and will now miss games against the Sky Blues, Bradford and Crawley.

Boss Joe Dunne also has several injury concerns as captain Brian Wilson (calf), Gavin Massey (hamstring) and Ryan Dickson (sickness) all struggled in midweek.

He will also assess forwards Sanchez Watt and Freddie Sears as well as winger Drey Wright after they missed out altogether against the Daggers due to injury.
