Double doubt for Sky Blues

Nathan Delfouneso and Blair Adams are both doubts for Coventry's home encounter against Carlisle.

On-loan Aston Villa striker Delfouneso (thigh) was struggling heading into Saturday's scheduled clash versus Bradford which fell victim to a waterlogged pitch, but he is expected to train on Monday.

Full-back Adams, meanwhile, will also be assessed ahead of the meeting with the Cumbrians having struggled with illness.

Midfielder Mark Marshall (hamstring) misses out again along with striker Callum Wilson (shoulder), however recent loan signings Michael Petrasso and Chuba Akpom are both in contention for their debuts at Sixfields.

Former Rangers striker Nacho Novo hopes to make his debut for Carlisle.

The Spaniard, who signed a short-term deal until the end of the season last week, was denied his first appearance on Saturday when the Cumbrians' league game at Crawley was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Another loanee, Wigan's Danny Redmond, is expected to start again after making his debut in last week's win against Bradford and fellow midfielder Paul Thirlwell (calf) should continue after making his first appearance since New Year's Day in the same match.

Conor Townsend (foot) and fellow defender Chris Chantler (ankle) are still out as Carlisle bid for back-to-back league wins for the first time since September.
