Coventry still looking to bring in new faces

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has hinted that the club's activity in the transfer market might not be over.

City have brought in striker Leon Clarke and Midfielder Franck Moussa on permanent deals and extended the loan of Blair Adams, but speaking at a press conference ahead of Thursday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Semi-Final against Preston North End, Robins told Keiran Crowley: "I have a lot of options because there are players in the squad who are chomping at the bit for an opportunity.

"The transfer window is open and it is a fluid business where people can come and go. There may be some permanent movement on that front but who knows as the transfer window is such a difficult thing to predict.

"You have to be on your toes and look to see if the right opportunity comes along. At the moment, I am not under any pressure to move people on.

"Hopefully that will continue as we have got a decent momentum and we have got a good run of games coming up as well so a great opportunity to make a real impression."
