City approach Northampton's Dunn Coventry City have formally approached Northampton Town goalkeeper Chris Dunn. The 24 year old Cobblers 'keeper is out of contract at Northampton and therefore theoretically available on a free transfer but, under the Bosman ruling Coventry would have to pay a development fee to Northampton , the size of which would be set by a tribunal panel. It is understood that Coventry have submitted a written transfer offer to Dunn.  Coventry City are also likely to make an approach for a more experience goalkeeper, possibly Scunthorpe's Joe Murphy once Westwood reveals whether he is staying or leaving the club. Reports in today's newspapers suggest he has signed a four year deal with Sunderland, but nothing has been confirmed.
