Coventry look at Paynter
Leeds striker interests Thorn Skysport.com are reporting that Coventry City and Brighton are interested in signing out of favour Leeds United striker Billy Paynter before the transfer window closes at 11:00 pm tonight. Leeds manager Simon Grayson will allow the 27 year old striker to leave Elland Road after he failed to replicate his prolific scoring form that he had at Swindon before he joined Leeds. Injury meant Paynter made only 22 appearances for Leeds last season and he scored just the one goal.
