Boothroyd to have closer look at young 'keeper. Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd is to offer Lawrence Thomas, the 18 year old Australian goal keeper the chance to show what he is capable  of. So far Boothroyd has been impressed with the young Aussie who played in the second half of the friendly game in Austria last  Saturday against VF Gaflenz.. Boothroyd said of Lawrence, “Lawrence is a young boy who is just 18 years old, he is an Australian and it seems they have got a little production line there."  "He is someone who was here before on trial and I think a lot of him and, again, I want to see how he does when he is back in Coventry and we will see how he gets on from there, but I won’t be making a decision on him until he has done the whole pre-season.”
