Coventry City midfielder Conor Thomas returns to action after U21 performances

Thomas, who captained the first team during their Scottish pre-seasontour, has missed most of the season so far after being the victim of aparting gift in training from Gary Deegan which left the Coventry bornplayer, who was making appearances for City U18's aged fourteen, withankle ligament damage.

Thomas had been rushed back and broken down but returned today to playthe last sixteen minutes of City U21's 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Robbie Findley scored the only goal of the game in the 43rd minute in amatch which saw Forest have the better of the chances, hitting thewoodwork twice.
