Coventry City manager Mark Robins wants to keep winning run going

The Sky Blues were victorious in their last two home matches against Tranmere Rovers and Oldham Athletic and travel to Preston North End, whom they recently defeated in the Johnstones Paint Trophy.

“I expect the best from the team as they have had a great chance to get some work done on the training pitch this week" said Mark Robins to club journalist Kieran Crowley at the club's weekly press conference. "They are fully rested and ready to get going in the next game so we will be looking to continue our run.

“The back-to-back wins have definitely had a positive impact on the team but we need to make sure we are keeping up those intensity levels.

“There are a lot of positive signs throughout the squad. They seem to be encouraging each other much more and they are more of a unit.

“I am always looking for those signs and team spirit is important in different ways. If someone isn’t pulling their weight, sometimes it may need the others to pick him up and that has also been happening.”
