Cov can't afford Posh pair, says Fry

The Sky Blues have already had a bid for the duo rejected and Fry has warned the Midlanders they do not have enough money to afford them.

"Coventry told me straight after our game there on Saturday they wanted to sign Aaron and Craig in January so I told them our asking price," he told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

"They are going to discuss it at a board meeting and get back to me but believe me there isn't enough money in Coventry to get either of them.

"We are not interested in selling Craig anyway. If we were we would be more likely to sell him to a Premier League club because there has been a bit of interest.

"But our chairman is keen to keep as much of the squad together as possible because even if we suffered the misfortune of relegation we would have a strong team for a League One campaign."
