County Cup Action For City Ladies
Cup Game For Sky Blues Coventry City Ladies take their first steps to defending their Birmingham FA County Cup crown this Sunday, when they take on Cottage Farm Rangers, who currently sit bottom of the West Midlands Division 1 North, having lost all six of their games this season. There are likely to be changes to the Sky Blues line-up, but Wood is confident that the club has the strength in depth to cope with the reality of playing in four competitions this season. “We've rarely started with the same 11 and I think that demonstrates the manager’s confidence in the whole squad. It has added extra competition and bite to training, and that can only push our performances upwards.” The match will take place on Sunday 1st December at Belgrave High School and will kick-off at 2pm.
