City old boy news Former Coventry City loanee Jack Cork has said that he would like to stay at Burnley. His time at Turf Moor is due to expire next week and his Chelsea contract expires on June 30th. Speaking to the media this week, Cork is quoted as saying: "I think I'll be looking to leave Chelsea and Burnley will be up there when I'm thinking about where to go. I'm looking forward to getting somewhere and being part of a club rather than the loan man who's come in. I want to be part of a club. It's a different feel, I think, when you're somewhere permanent."I think whatever division they're in, Burnley will be really high in my thoughts, especially with the new staff and the players here. I've really enjoyed it here. "I've really enjoyed my time at Chelsea. I couldn't have had better coaching and better people to be around when I was growing up. Brendan [Rodgers] took me from the youth team and the reserve team and the next stage was to go out on loan."They have the best players in the world so you can't really complain. They are such good players, good athletes and good pros. It's only good to be around it. The only thing is it's frustrating because you know they're so good it's hard for you to get your chance."You can be satisfied with training with them every day, but it's a different experience going on loan. I get to play games and I get to play at a very good standard in the Championship and I'm really enjoying it here."
