Coleman to take over at Swansea

Former City boss want hometown job? Reports from Wales Online have said that sacked Coventry City manager Chris Coleman wants to become the manger of his hometown club Swansea City. If Coleman did become the Swans new manger, he would replace Paulo Sousa who left the Welsh club to join Leicester City. In the past Coleman has adamantly rejected the idea of managing Swansea because of the pressures it would heap on himself and his family, many of whom still live in the area. However, if the reports are true, Coleman must have had a huge change of mind, but  the Swansea board are not thought to be chasing Coleman as their preferred choice for the vacant managerial post.
