Coleman In Favour Of Fast Tracking Former Players
City boss on referees Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he is in favour of face tracking former players who want to be referees.Speaking to the Sunday Mercury, the City manager said:"I said about four years ago at a referees' meeting that it should be about talent rather than longevity. "There are plenty of ex-players who would do it but aren't prepared to spend eight years qualifying at the lower levels."
