Bristol City counterpart Gary Johnson revealed on Sunday the south-west outfit had accepted a bid from an unnamed club for the 29-year-old. Coleman has now confirmed it is the Sky Blues who have made the move, with the midlands side looking to thrash out personal terms with the former Wolves wide man as soon as possible. "I know it has come out that we have agreed a fee with Bristol City but we are yet to agree other things, so the deal is far from being done," he told the Coventry Telegraph. "I am hoping, praying and fingers are crossed because we owe it to the supporters and the boys we have got who have done a great job over the last six weeks." Coleman is also looking at former Sheffield Wednesday left-back Peter Gilbert, who is on trial at the Ricoh Arena and played the final 40 minutes of Coventry's 2-2 draw against Everton on Sunday.
