Coleman: Cov need stake in stadium

Coleman is itching to begin bringing in new players but knows his budget will be tight until the club has its own share of the profits from the variety of events hosted by the money-spinning venue. He told the Coventry Telegraph; "The most important thing is Coventry City have got their own stadium, or at least a stake in it. "That's the aim but we are talking about a lot of money. But in the long run I think it will be the best thing to do and we are not ready to do it yet, I believe." Coleman, who has yet to make a signing this summer, added: "I understand it is a business and sometimes I have to take a step back from it and wait a bit longer to get where I want to be. "I can understand the fans wanting the club to spend but there is a bigger picture. We don't own our stadium and have to pay to play in it."
