Coleman can't wait for January sales
Chairman Ray Ranson has admitted there could be funds available for Coleman, who is eyeing up potential transfer targets.
The Welshman told the Coventry Telegraph: "I think we would be wise to invest in the squad if we are in that top 10 come Christmas when that January window comes round.
"We would be wise to do that. I think that is rewarding the players we have got by bringing in new players to keep pushing them and thicken the squad and hopefully ensuring we are more successful.
"If the club gave us £5million tomorrow we have identified the players to go and spend that £5million, I promise you that.
"Equally, if they give us £2million we'd have different players to fit into that budget."
