Coleman bemoans more McPake woe

The centre-half, dogged by injury last season following his arrival from Livingston in January, suffered a dislocated shoulder in Wednesday's friendly defeat to Dunfermline. "He's had dreadful luck since he has been at the club. What he has been doing is trying to play catch up and then he's been playing too hard when he plays," Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph. "He defended and played very well against Dunfermline, but has missed a lot of games over the last six months and your heart goes out to the kid because he is a good pro and has been working hard to get in the side. "He will get his chance, but he has had a bit more bad luck and the story of our pre-season in terms of injuries and the size of our squad continues, unfortunately for us. "It sums our pre-season up and it is another player we have lost on top of a barrel load of injuries we have already got, and it is another player we can't afford to lose."
