Colchester get bids for City target. Colchester United have received two bids from an un-named Championship club for left back Marc Tierney, according to various rumours doing the rounds.Coventry City have been linked with the 25 year defender who played for Aidy Boothroyd at the Weston Homes Community Stadium last season.The Prestwich born player joined Colchester on loan from Shrewsbury in 2008/09 and was offered a contract with the U's for whom he has scored one goal in sixty appearances.
