Thorn on Cody Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that Cody McDonald will put away the chances he has. The signing from Norwich City in only his second game all season, had a couple of chances which if he had scored, would have given City a way back in a game at Ipswich Town which they eventually lost 3-1. Speaking about McDonald, who got 68 minutes under his belt, to the Press Association, Thorn said; "Cody's not fully fit yet. When he is he'll take those chances, without question. "That's not an issue. I was just pleased he was getting in the right places and if one of them had gone in it would have been interesting."
