Cody McDonald has had his Coventry City contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The forward was signed by Andy Thorn from Norwich City but never really settled and produced his goal-scoring form whilst on loan at his former club Gillingham who have now signed him on a two year deal.
McDonald was told that he was not part of Steven Pressley's plans and has been part of the Broad Street Bomb Squad since the players returned to training.
