A foot injury had kept the 25-year-old out since the start of October, during which time City lost six and drew three of their nine Championship fixtures.[LNB]Clingan returned as an 88th-minute substitute against Peterborough on Saturday as Chris Coleman's side recorded their first victory in 11 league games.[LNB]"I am delighted to be back because it has been a frustrating time for me," Clingan told the Coventry Telegraph.[LNB]"It was 10 weeks on Saturday that I have been out and it has been hard work along the way but I am back now and it is good the team are back to winning ways.[LNB]"It is just coincidence the bad run has happened while I have been injured. We got a victory from a team who are in and around us and hopefully we can take a lot of confidence from that game in to the next match against Plymouth, who are down near the bottom as well."[LNB]Clingan added: "My foot is all good now. My fitness will come with the more minutes I get on the pitch. I have been working hard with the fitness coach and I will just see what happens."[LNB][LNB]
