Midfielder delighted with work ethic of new manager Coventry City's talented midfielder Sammy Clingan has revealed he is in awe of manager Aidy Boothroyd's training methods. The 26 year old Northern Ireland international is delighted with the hard work and preparation he and the rest of the team are being pt through by Boothroyd and his team. He said, "It's been really hard, especially yesterday, because there was a lot of running. We got all the balls out really early though and there has been a lot of the disguised running the manager has been talking about." "I've been really impressed with the way the manager has got us to do so much running but done it with the ball and it's been really enjoyable. You know pre season is going to be hard and you have to be prepared for that but the manager has come in with his own ideas and the lads have really responded to that and they're all buzzing at the moment." Clingan is also impressed with Austria and he loves the scenery surrounding the training camp near the village of Obertraun. He admitted he never gets tired of the stunning views. He said,"I came here two years ago with Nottingham Forest so I know what a scenic place it is. The last time I came here with Forest we got promoted that season so hopefully it's an omen and we can get promotion this season."
