Sammy Clingan is impressed with Coventry's pre-season form and reckons the hectic schedule of friendlies is helping the players prepare for the new campaign. The Northern Ireland midfielder played his first full game in the 1-0 win over Northampton and is keen to get another game under his belt against Walsall on Saturday. "Pre-season has been going really well so far and I'm really enjoying it and I'm looking forward to Walsall," he told the club's official website. "The games are coming thick and fast but that's good because that's what you want. "We've been solid at the back so far and we've been keeping clean sheets and long may that continue. "We know you don't win anything in pre-season but winning is still a good thing because it breeds confidence so hopefully we can continue that at the weekend."
