Clarke To Return

No operation required Coventry City defender Jordan Clarke has been given the all clear to start to build up his knee.  Clarke damaged ligaments in his knee whilst in pre-season training in Portugal and has missed the pre-season and the fixtures so far but has been told that he will not need an operation and can make moves to get back to match fitness.  Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, City boss Andy Thorn said: “Jordan’s been assessed and he doesn’t need an operation which would have kept him out for a long, long time. His knee brace is off now but he will still be a couple of months.  “It is good news for the lad because he did really well at the back end of last season and came back in pre-season buzzing. He’d looked after himself and unfortunately, it was just one of those things. We have been disappointed for the kid but he is battling back.”
