Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that Leon Clark's ankle operation has gone well.
Clarke was treated for a fractured right ankle and Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph: "The injury was worse than we thought but the operation went very well.
"The surgeon was delighted with the way it went so we're hopeful that he should be ready to join pre-season training on day one because it was a concern that he might not be back for the first couple of weeks of pre-season, so that is a big plus for us."
