Clarke lands vice-chairman role
Coventry have appointed John Clarke OBE as vice-chairman of the club.
Clarke, born in the city and a lifelong Sky Blues supporter, was only installed as a full board director at the end of January having been an associate director for the past four years.
The local businessman was previously a board director of the club in 1992/93 and was also vice-president and an associate director between 1987 and 1992.
Clarke told the club`s official website: "I am delighted and indeed honoured to have been appointed vice-chairman and look forward to supporting the chairman Ray Ranson, my fellow directors and the club`s senior management in our mission to bring better times back to the club."
Ranson added: "John is a very active supporter of the club on many levels. He has worked very hard for the club and is actively strengthening local links with business and the community."
