The 25-year-old joined the Sky Blues from Norwich in January and is now hoping to use the summer to fully recover from an ankle operation. "I can't go away for two or three weeks because that is too long away from having rehab," he told the Coventry Telegraph. "The main thing is that I get my ankle sorted. That's got to be my priority this summer so that come the first day of the season I am fit and ready to play. "I was carrying my injury all season but I had it operated on a couple of weeks ago and I am on the mend now and really looking forward to getting a good pre-season under my belt. "I want to start the season in the team, play in every game and try to score a few more goals. Hopefully I will be playing in my better position on the right but we will have to see. "I do like to get goals from midfield and next year I will set myself a target of how many I should score but I feel I should score more than I do and hopefully I can put that right next season."
