The Sky Blues will then travel to Yorkshire for back-to-back away games at Barnsley (August 15) and Doncaster (August 18) before returning for a home clash with Swansea four days later.
Rivals Leicester and West Brom will visit the Ricoh Arena on October 3 and 24 respectively, with the return fixtures following on March 20 and 23.
Boxing Day will see Chris Coleman's men host Doncaster before the Sky Blues end the year with a trip to Nottingham Forest (December 28), while 2010 will begin with the visit of Barnsley on January 9.
The crunch clashes with title favourites Newcastle will take place on December 8 (home) and February 17 (away), while the Easter programme sees Coleman's men host Derby (April 3) before travelling to Reading (April 5).
