City Up To Ninth

City move up Coventry City are up to ninth in the Championship table after their 2-1 victory at Bristol City. Queens Park Rangers are five points clear at the top of table after a 2-0 victory at Leicester City. QPR lead from Ipswich Town who beat third placed Cardiff City 2-0 at Portman Road. Norwich City are fourth after their 1-0 win at Preston whilst Watford have moved up to fifth with a 6-1 victory at Millwall. City old boy John Eustace was one of the Hornets six goalscorers. Swansea are sixth with a 2-0 victory over Scunthorpe. At the other end of the table, Portsmouth are still bottom, following their 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United with Preston second bottom and Leicester third bottom. Other results saw Barnsley wipe out a Dean Leacock goal for Derby to earn a 1-1 draw, a win for Gordon Strachan's Middlesbrough - 3-1 versus Reading and draws at Hull and Crystal Palace against Burnley who had Danny Fox booked.     .
